Christmas CoolDown Block Party Chickasha Oklahoma

The Christmas in July celebration closes out with a five-hour block party on Chickasha Avenue. Everything is free.

Kids run through the water slides from the moment the block opens at 5:00. Cycle Santa shows up at 6:00 with free Jungle Ice snow cones and stays for an hour. The Chickasha Area Arts Council sets up the kids’ zone for crafts and face painting.

Food trucks line the block through the evening. The Christmas in July Restaurant Bingo drawings happen at the Leg Lamp at 7:00, so cards need to be turned in before then. Live music starts at 7:30. Fireworks go up at dusk.

Bring towels and a change of clothes for the kids. Lawn chairs help if you’re staying for the music. Parking on Chickasha Ave. is gone once the block closes, so aim for the side streets a few blocks off the main strip.

• 5:00 PM: Block opens. Water slides and food trucks running
• 6:00 to 7:00 PM: Free snow cone social with Cycle Santa
• 6:00 to 8:00 PM: Kids’ crafts and face painting with the Arts Council
• 7:00 PM: Restaurant Bingo drawings at the Leg Lamp

• Dusk: Fireworks over downtown
